Monique M. O’Connell

Monique M. O’Connell is a graduate of Northeastern University, has been a practicing Certified Public Accountant since 1993.

Having initially worked in small to mid-size local firms as a tax preparer and supervisor, she also performed financial statement audits and did a wide range of analytical projects for financial transactions. These included cost accounting systems and cost/benefit analysis of large transactions. She gained significant experience working with clients in many industries, including, restaurants, construction, advertising and professional services.

Monique has experience advising small businesses on the set-up of their systems of books and records, including catching up for delinquent periods. She is experienced with most accounting programs, and has helped her clients set-up and clean-up their records and created systems to keep them on track.

She is also experienced in tax return preparation for all size business, and individuals of all financial circumstance.

Having experience at all levels from bookkeeping, to financial statement preparation to tax return preparation and submission as well as being able to help resolve tax issues, allows her to provide a comprehensive level of service to her clients.

An avid volunteer, Monique believes in giving back to the community by sitting on many committees at church, school, and also as a leader for Girl Scouts.

Monique is also a member of the AICPA and the MSCPA.
